Who runs this site

This is the personal site of Joan Comadran, based in Spain. It is not a company and it does not sell anything. For anything on this page, write to joan.comadran2@gmail.com.

What I collect

Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, forms, or newsletter sign-ups. If you accept analytics (see below), Google Analytics records aggregate usage: which pages you view, roughly where you are (country or city, derived from your IP, which is not stored in full), your device and browser type, and where you came from. It is used to understand which posts are worth writing, not to profile anyone.

Cookies & consent

By default nothing is stored on your device. Analytics start denied. If you decline the banner, Google Analytics only sends cookieless, anonymous pings that are aggregated for traffic counts. If you accept, it sets its own cookies (such as _ga) to measure return visits. Your choice itself is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. The legal basis for the analytics cookies is your consent. The cookie policy lists each one.

Who else is involved

Two third parties process data on my behalf:

How long it is kept

Google Analytics retains event data for up to 14 months. Server logs are short-lived. Your consent choice stays in your browser until you clear it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you can object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time: clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will reappear so you can choose again. For any request, email joan.comadran2@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
